early childhood support: process and pricing

Process

  • Set up initial consultation (free) to ask any questions and determine best fit.

  • If interested in beginning early childhood support services, you will gain access to a HIPAA compliant service to complete new client paperwork and consents.

  • Once new client paperwork is received, an initial assessment in the form of (1) parent interview and completing formal assessments, as appropriate, and (2) observation/assessment of your child in the home setting, will be completed.

  • Following this session, a skill building plan will be developed, as well as a behavior approach (if appropriate).

  • Teaching sessions begin following review and agreement of goals, strategies, as well as scheduling.

  • Mindful BA seeks to provide families with options for services that best fit your needs: 1:1 Direct Teaching Sessions (for the child, delivered by the analyst), a Parent Implementation Approach (guided by the analyst), consultations, or a combination of these.

  • Direct teaching sessions are delivered in a play-based form and utilize natural opportunities to teach pivotal behaviors and behavior cusps. This includes areas like language/communication, coping, autonomy, and social connections as growth in these areas can lead to growth in other other areas without needing direct teaching, and can increase opportunities to access more joy and peace across many settings and situations. We implement varying approaches focused on building autonomy, awareness, and choice (please request specifics on this if interested).

  • Parent sessions are also coordinated to ensure complete understanding and confidence in the teaching strategies and behavior plans, as well as to provide education and support. These sessions are guided by the principles of ACT and DNA-V.

  • For those interested only in consultation services, meetings can begin following the initial assessment (as appropriate), completion of new client paperwork, and schedule agreement. Click here for more information on early childhood consulting.
